Joseph L. Leritz

Joseph L. Leritz is the senior partner of the firm. He limits his practice to fire insurance, subrogation, insurance coverage litigation and commercial litigation. He is an experienced trial and appellate attorney and has appeared in state and federal courts at all levels including the United States Supreme Court. He has many years experience as a mediator and an arbitrator and is certified as a neutral by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.

Mr. Leritz has practiced law in St. Louis throughout his legal career. He received his Juris Doctor from St. Louis University in 1952 and was admitted to the Missouri Bar in the same year.

Mr. Leritz belongs to the Missouri Bar Association and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, and served as a Member of the Association of Defense Counsel, which includes a position as President from 1969 to 1970. Receiving the highest ranking achievable from Martindale Hubbell, Mr. Leritz has an AV Peer Review Rating and is listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. He is Co-Author of "Property and Business Liability-Commercial General Liability Coverage," Desktop Chapter Missouri CLE, 1994, 1997, 2000 and 2004 and 2010 Supplements.
